Battery Disconnect Switch

6.1 You don't have to do anything.
It's fully automatic: nothing to set up, nothing to press daily, no change to your driving habits.

6.2 While you're driving normally
It stays inactive. The car starts, drives and charges exactly as before.

6.3 When the battery runs low
When the voltage drops below the threshold (12.3V by default) and stays there for the delay period (180 seconds by default), the device cuts off the discharge automatically and preserves the remaining charge.

6.4 When you come back to the car (Bluetooth pairing required first)
Before first use, you need to complete a one-time Bluetooth pairing (see the manual or the pairing video for the exact steps). Once paired, it senses you via Bluetooth and restores the vehicle's power automatically. Just open the door and start the car — no extra steps.

6.5 Check the indicator light.
The green light on the unit has three states — the light alone tells you what the device is doing:

Light status Meaning
Green, slow flashing Normal operation — the device is protecting the battery
Green, fast flashing Power has been cut — protection is active (first 5 minutes after cut-off)
Green, off Turns off automatically 5 minutes after cut-off

In addition, the green light itself also doubles as an emergency power button: if you don't have your phone with you and haven't installed the wired button switch, you can simply press the green light on the main unit to restore power temporarily, as an emergency fallback.

6.6 The wired controller's button — two uses
The controller has a button switch that can be installed outdoors or anywhere convenient to reach (it's rated IPX78 — see 7.1).

  • Press once → restore power: when the battery goes flat and the device has already cut the power, a single press restores power to the whole vehicle — no need to reach deep into the engine bay to find the main unit.

  • Press and hold for 3 seconds → cut power manually: you don't have to wait for the voltage to drop to the set threshold — you can cut the vehicle's power yourself at any time (for example, before parking the car for a long period).

For safety, the long-press does not work while the vehicle is running — power can't be cut by accident while you're driving, so it's safe to use.
