Battery Disconnect Switch
8.1 Do I need an app?
No app to download. You do need to complete a one-time Bluetooth pairing before first use (see 6.4) — after that it senses automatically and you never have to touch it again.
8.2 Will I lose my car's settings after a cut-off?
During protection the vehicle is fully powered down, so on a small number of models the clock, one-touch window settings or audio presets may need to be set again once. That's normal and doesn't affect vehicle functions. We tell you this up front so there are no surprises.
8.3 How long can the car sit and still start?
The device automatically saves the last portion of charge for the start, so the car will still start normally after long parking periods. We do recommend keeping any single parking period under 180 days — a battery self-discharges over time and can still go flat after very long periods.
8.4 Can it revive a battery that's already flat?
No. Charge or replace the battery first, then install this product and let it handle "never again".
8.5 How do I restore power after a cut-off? Can I cut it manually?
The usual way to restore power: approach the car with your paired device and it reconnects automatically (see 6.4). If the device has already cut the power and you need power immediately, you can also press the button switch on the wired controller to restore it manually (see 7.1); and if you don't have your phone with you and haven't installed the wired button switch, you can simply press the green light on the main unit to restore power as an emergency fallback (see 6.5). Separately, press and hold the button for 3 seconds to cut the power manually — no need to wait for the voltage to reach the set threshold, which is handy before parking for a long period (the long-press does not work while driving).
