Every 12V battery works. Whether it's a lead-acid battery, an AGM battery or a start-stop battery — as long as the system is 12V, it can be used.
That means it fits sedans, SUVs, RVs, pickup trucks and motorcycles. No restrictions on model or engine displacement — it's compatible with the vast majority of vehicles on the market.
One important boundary: the Auto Starter is a protection / cut-off device. It is not a charger, and it is not an emergency jump starter. It cannot charge the battery, and it cannot start a car whose battery is already flat. What it does is preserve the charge in advance, so you never reach the "flat battery" stage in the first place. If the battery is already drained or worn out, charge or replace it first.
